If you are asking this question, I’m guessing that you want to learn how to code but you don’t know where or how to start. You can find a number of websites and books telling you the basics of programming but they never go beyond that. How do you turn these basic concepts into useful programs? How do people actually make a living out of coding on their own? How long will it take for me (with little or no experience) to become productive in an actual language, project or app? How hard is it really? These are some of the questions I’ve heard over and over again from aspiring coders who have taught themselves how to program.
